*November Sparkle* Make Up Tutorial

For me, November is the best month. The deep reds and browns of Autumn are still surrounding us but the sparkle of Christmas is beginning to appear. Naturally, I decided to incorporate this into a make up look and thought I'd show you guys what I did.

Posey posey

Eyes:

  • First I primed my lids using Urban Decay's Primer Potion
  • Then I used a dense brush to apply Naked from the Urban Decay Naked palette through my crease.
  • Next I applied MAC's Pro Longwear Paint Pot in the shade Rubenesque on the inner half of my eye lid. I just used my ring finger to do this.
  • I then took a small brush and applied Maybelline's 24 hour colour tattoo in Pomegranate on the outer half of my eye.
  • Next I took a bigger fluffy brush and patted Half Baked from the Urban Decay Naked Palette over the Rubensque. This helped to set it and also made the gold more vibrant.
  • I blended the Half Baked into the Pomegranate, for a seamless finish.
  • To set Pomegranate I took Pink Sapphire from the Anastasia Lavish palette and patted it on top. I used little strokes and blended into the Half Baked to get rid of any harsh lines.
  • I then blended the Pink Sapphire into the outer crease very slightly.
  • I then took some more of the Naked eye shadow and blended out the Pink Sapphire and Half Baked.
  • Next I used my Good Karma brush by Urban Decay and used the smaller side to apply Truffle from the lavish palette on my outer 'V'. I blended this out with the larger side of the brush.
  • I then applied Midnight Cowboy by Urban Decay on the inner corners of my eyes for a highlight.
  • For my brown bone highlight I used Virgin from the UD Naked Palette.
  • I blended everything out one more time using the Naked eye shadow.
  • I lined my lash line and made a tiny cat eye using Inglot's Matte Collection AMC Eye Liner Gel in the shade 77. I did this with an angled brush.
  • I then set the eye liner using Creep from the Naked palette.
  • Finally I lined my waterline with a white eye pencil and coated my lashes using Urban Decay's Big Fatty mascara.
