January & February Favourites

Let's just skip over the fact that this post is reaaaaally late haha. I've been umm-ing and ah-ing about whether it was worth uploading at all but in the end, I decided it was better late than never so here goes...

Beauty |

Natural Collection Vanilla Body Spray// This smells incredible. As I've mentioned before, vanilla is pretty much my favourite scent so I've been wearing this a lot. It's dirt cheap at just £2, doesn't irritate my skin and lasts a long time.

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in '20'//  I've been absolutely loving this concealer lately. I've heard through the grapevine that it's a great dupe for the NARS creamy concealer which is why I bought it. My shade is quite yellow-toned so it works well for concealing dark circles. I actually prefer this over the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer.

Head Jog Carbon Tail Comb C6// I picked up this wooden tail comb from Beauty Bay to use when straightening my hair. It really helps to tease out knots and I like using the tail to section my hair.

Fashion |

Primark Quilted Leather Bag//  This bag has been perfect for when I'm just nipping to town and don't want to carry a huge handbag. It's about the size of an A5 sheet of paper with two compartments. I can fit essentials like my phone, keys, lipstick etc really well and it never looks bulky. I have a bit of a thing for brown leather and I really like the quilted detailing on the front of this bag.

Navy Ballet Flats// I love these shoes for special occasions. They are sturdy (sometimes making them a bit uncomfortable) and the gold detail at the toe is gorgeous.

Shell Pink and Gold Butterfly Bulldog Clip// I got this clip and the shoes with a New Look gift card for just over £10 - absolute bargain. I like butterflies so I was immediately drawn to it. I've been using it to create half-up, half-down hairstyles.

Blogs & Channels |
Patricia's channel was pretty much the only one I watched throughout January - I was obsessed. She seems like such a lovely, genuine person. I really enjoy her hauls and lookbooks and love seeing how she styles certain pieces. I love the fact she is a Christian too. She is now part of the DailyMix team and I'm so excited to see what she brings to the channel.
Shirley became my new girl crush and blog crush in Feb. I love her chic, clean cut style - she always looks so classy. Her blog has the same clean-cut style as her wardrobe and is a nice, light read. Her photography is probably the best I've come across in the beauty blogger world, and it's inspired me to improve my own skills.
I was actually going to nominate Tini for a Liebster award but three people beat me to it haha! It's no surprise though. She brings a unique approach to FBL blogs, and has definitely put her own stamp on things. She writes with such intelligence and I love that she is a fellow artist.
Anita's breath taking blog was constantly open on my laptop last month. She takes the most BEAUTIFUL photographs, they are so calm and serene. I love keeping up with her travels and looking at life from her point of view. It's been a nice change from all the beauty blogs I read.

I've also been absolutely loving THIS song by AlunaGeorge.

- And that's a wrap. Ciao x

  1. THOSE NAVY FLATS. I WANT *-* (Love the gold toe cap detail too!!)
I've actually been debating on whether to settle for NARS or Maybelline too. Still indecisive as to which to choose, but maybe eventually I'll pick them both to do a comparison?

    1. I've never tried the NARS concealer either but I think I'm gunna try it some day. They look pretty similar in the bottle. I've been told the primer I use is a dupe for the porefessional but I still reaaally want to try the porefessional aha. xx

  2. love your flats!
very nice blog by the way :)

    kisses from Russia,

    1. Aw thank you :) that means a lot to me x
