'Sapphire Silk' Makeup

I'm baaaack! It feels like forever since I actually sat down and blogged. Last week I ended up going into hospital and had my appendix removed, so forgive me for not posting anything. I've been designing lots of face charts on Photoshop recently and I decided to bring one of them to life for this post. I went for a blue eye with complimentary orange tones across the rest of the face. Here's how I achieved the look:

Eyes// I started by priming my eyes with my UD Primer Potion. Then I took 'Habit' from the UD Vice 2 Palette on a Sigma E40 brush, and applied it through my crease. To define the crease more I applied 'Rewind' from the same palette using a Real Techniques Essential Crease Brush. I then packed 'Madness' from the same palette onto my lid and blended out with my Sigma E25. On the Sigma E30 brush, I took 'Prank' (also from the Vice 2) and drew a 'V' shape on the outer corners of my eye. I blended it out with the Sigma E25. At this point I went onto applying my face make up. When that was done I used 'Kinky' from the UD Smoked Palette as my brow bone highlight. I applied one coat of the Maybelline Falsies Mascara and one coat of the UD Big Fatty Mascara. I used Topshop's Khol Liner in 'Sable' in my waterline and a little bit on my lower lash line. For my inner corner highlight, I used 'Virgin' from Urban Decay. In my original face chart I went for a full winged liner but decided to do just a half winged liner when bringing the look to life. For this I used Inglot's Matte Gel Liner in '77'. Finally for the eyes, I took a little bit of the 'Madness' eye shadow on my finger and just dabbed it on the centre of my lids, to intensify the colour a bit more.

Face// After applying my eye make up I filled in my brows with the Accessorize Brow Kit. I went for a thicker brow than what I'd normally wear. For my foundation I used L'oreal True Match Foundation in (W3) which I applied with a damp beauty blender. I concealed my under eyes with Maybelline Fit Me Concealer (20) and brightened them with Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer (Fair). I set this with Ben Nye Banana Powder. I then used the Fit Me concealer on the corners of my mouth, my chin, around my nose and my forehead. I also used the Collection Concealer underneath my cheekbones, on my forehead, chin, cupids bow and on the tip of my nose to highlight. To contour I used Bourjois Delice de Poudre (52). For blush I used Sleek's 'Life's a Peach'.

Lips//  I kept it simple for the lips and just applied Lime Crime's Cosmopop

Hope you guys enjoyed this look!
Ciao x
