#FridayFOTD

My days of being a hermit came to an end this week when I started university. I figured that now I have to regularly leave my house, I will probably end up experimenting with make up on a daily basis. I thought it'd be fun to start a new #FridayFOTD series to document a different look each week.

In this week's look I used the No7 Airbrush Away Primer to prime my face . This is actually meant to be used on "aged skin" but it seems to work well on my dehydrated face. For foundation I went for my trusty L'oreal True Match in W3.  I'm planning to try out a couple of high end foundations soon so hopefully they will feature in a few upcoming #FridayFOTD posts! I then moved onto eyebrows applying 'Rewind' by Urban Decay (which I forgot to photograph oops). I applied it with a pencil brush for a softer look. I've been rekindling my love for the MUA Heaven & Earth palette, after featuring it in my Top 10 Under 10 (read HERE). After priming with UD Primer Potion, I applied the 3rd shade from the bottom row, all over my lid. I built up the outer v of my eyes with the 1st shade on the bottom row, second from last on the bottom row, and second from last on the top row (gosh that's confusing). I ran 'Buck' and 'Naked' from the Naked palette through my crease, as a transition colour. For brow bone highlight I used 'Kinky', also by Urban Decay.  I lined my eyes and waterline with MAC's Teddy Eye Khol, and smoked it out. My mascara of choice was Maybelline The Falsies in 'Black Drama'. For the rest of my face, I concealed with Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in '20' and set with Ben Nye Banana Powder as always. I used my Calvin Klein Bronzer in 'Sun Drenched' to lightly contour before adding Benefit Bella Bamba blush on the apples of my cheeks. I finished with Maybelline's ColorSensational Lipstick in 'Honey Beige' which really brought out the brown tones of my eye make up.

What have been your go-to products this week?

Ciao x

  1. Seriously loving that flat lay in the first photo, and of course the eyeshadow look! (I'm definitely going to get the original Naked when Sephora does its sale!)

    1. Aha thanks Vanessa :) I'm still debating whether I want to get the Naked 2. I know I'm way behind everyone else with that but I don't like buying products just because they are hyped.
