Nail Art Society: First Session

Last week I decided to take my love of beauty even further by signing up for my uni's nail art society. Today we had a little taster session where we just got to grips with the equipment etc. We were given things like nail wheels, nail art pens, dotter tools and paint brushes to create our own designs.

I decided to give floral nails a go which was probably a bit overambitious lol! As you can see from my two attempts, I'm definitely not a natural. One of the girls at the society asked me to do a floral design on her nails but in true Angi style I had a bit of a disaster and ended up exploding a nail art pen all over her, me and the table - oops! It's safe to say I stuck to nail wheels after that.

I had a play around with some of the nail art pens, creating random patterns and designs. It's probably gunna take a bit of practice before I have a steady hand but I don't think I did too bad for a first attempt.

Next week we are going to be taught how to do things like animal print and tribal patterns so that should be fun! Hope you all have a good week.

Ciao x
