Simple Christmas Cookies ft A Brimful of Tasha

Christmas came early for me this year when my blog crush, Tasha, agreed to do a collab with me! I have gushed about Tasha and her blog in many of my posts so I will spare you the soppiness this time.

We thought it'd be fun to do some Christmas bakes for our collab. I'm rather domestically challenged so have opted for a super simple Christmas cookie recipe to share with you. In fact, they are about as simple as you can get as you only need three ingredients!

Let's begin...

Ingredients (Makes 16):
  • 350g of plain flour
  • 110g of caster sugar
  • 230g of butter
Method:
  1. Preheat the oven to 150°c (Gas Mark 2)
  2. Combine sugar and butter in a mixing bowl. Softening the butter before hand will make this step much easier. (If you're feeling more adventurous you could add some chocolate chips too)
  3. Add flour and use your hands to need the mixture into a dough
  4. Roll the dough out on a flat, lightly floured surface.
  5. Use a Christmas cookie cutter to cut out your shapes. (I got THIS set of Christmas tree ones from Wilko for a mere £1.50! Snowflakes would also be a cute idea)
  6. Grease a baking tray with a bit of butter and place shapes on top
  7. Bake in oven for 25-30 mins (until it's a light, golden shade)
  8. Leave to cool and serve. You can dust with icing sugar for a more Christmassy effect and for extra flavour.
Voila! Seriously how easy was that? Make sure you head over to A Brimful of Tasha to see what Tasha has in store for you (and give her a cheeky follow whilst you're there)

Ciao x
