10 Happy Things #2

Can you believe we're at the end of another week already? I've had plenty of happy moments this week and I can't wait to share them all with you. Here are this week's 10 Happy Things...
1. When sorting through my old suitcase I found this beautiful Beauty & The Beast storybook mug. I actually bought it as a present for a friend I lost contact with, which is a shame but I love the mug and it made me happy to see it again.

2. A burrito bar in my town started a donation bank for the refugees in Calais! I was so overwhelmed by how many people donated, it got to the point where the bar was overflowing and we spent ages sorting through it all. They’ll be making their second trip to Calais this week.

3. I did my first ever creative make up transformation! I’m part of a make up group on Facebook and each Thursday we do themed makeovers. This week’s theme was Disney and whilst the majority of people chose princesses, I did Scar! Take a look HERE.

4. My sister bought her wedding dress and sent me a photo! I would have loved to have been with her when she picked her dress but I’m excited to go to the fitting when I visit her in Spring.
5. I went to see Inside Out again, this time with my friend Lucy! It was lovely to spend time with her and watch such an amazing movie. See my review HERE. I also had a Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Fudge Brownie ice cream during the film and it was so delicious!

6. I’ve been using my new planner! I’ve just been experimenting with my plannering style. I now know how I want it so look forward to lots of planner decor posts in the future!

7. I’ve had a few good make up days this week. I’ve found myself experimenting a lot more and enjoying the process of applying make up again.

8. The lovely Jemma from Dorkface mentioned me in her latest Friday Five post! She listed five blogs she thought were awesome and somehow I made the cut. Thank you so much Jemma - you are so lovely!
9. I had the most amazing time at the Bloggers Fashion Week! I made friends with two lovely Youtubers, Emma's Rectangle & Sophie Shohet, who I can’t wait to see again. It was easily one of the best days of my life. Read all about the Bloggers Fashion Week HERE.

10. I've been loving the turquoise hair extensions I had fitted during the BLFW. It's the most creative I've ever been with my hair and I love looking down and seeing the pop of colour.

What made you happy this week?
Tell me in the comments below.

  1. YOUR BLOG IS SO PRETTY! I'm loving the beauty and the beast mug it's nice to discover things you thought didn't exist :) I need one of those planners too, I keep seeing them and despite buying a bloggers planner earlier this year it's too pretty for me to use and I quite like it just on my desk. I need to find something I can use ;) where did you get it?
