Did You Miss Me?

Hello everyone! Wow, it feels like forever since I last blogged. I've been M.I.A from the blogging scene for the past month but I'm back now and boy did I miss all of you. March was a bit of a blip for me and I took a step back from a lot of things but I'm hoping April is a happier time for me.

This month I'm advertising on one of my favourite blogs, dorkface.co.uk (which you absolutely must follow because Jemma is a total babe) so I thought as well as checking in with my long term followers it’d also be nice to introduce myself to any first time visitors.

So, firstly if you’re new here - hi! I’m Anjalee, a 22 year old student living in Hampshire. I launched Two Different Worlds over three years ago in a bid to pass the time at university. Originally I blogged about beauty products but over time I knew that I had a lot of other passions that I wanted to share too. This space has since become my online “scrapbook”, if you will, and is very much my happy place. Although I am guilty of having a few quiet blogging spells, I do treasure my little corner of the internet and have such fun creating posts. I’m a creative soul, I like drawing (I drew that little illustration up there ^) and love producing colourful photos for my blog.

The things that make me the happiest are quirky home-ware, pretty stationery, animated films, The Mindy Project, Pretty Little Liars, fairy tales, illustration and photography. So, if you like bright pastel photography and down-to-earth nattering then welcome aboard!
If you’ve been here for a while then I just want to say I’m sorry for being away for so long and I think it’s about time we caught up. Since we last spoke I turned 22 and had one of the loveliest birthdays I’ve had in a long time. I spent the day singing along to Taylor Swift and Melanie Martinez, taking obligatory Taylor Swift-inspired selfies and eating the amazing Once Upon a Time birthday cake my friend Amy kindly made me. On the evening I went out for a cheeky Nando’s with my work friends and felt really grateful to be surrounded by awesome people.

One of those awesome people was my friend Lucy who has just launched her own blog HERE. She’s already churning out excellent beauty and fashion related posts and believe me when I say she knows her stuff. After working on a beauty counter for over two years and training in beauty two years prior to that, Lucy is a little expert and also a lovely person inside and out, so go pay her a visit!

As for me and what I’ve been up to recently? Well I’m just trying to get through the last term of this uni year. I can’t believe the year is almost over already but there’s still a lot of work to do! For one of my units I’ve been working on a “Bloggers Magazine” which I’m excited to share with you all soon.

That’s it from me really! I’d love to hear more about all of you. If you’re a first time visitor please introduce yourself in the comments below and tell me something interesting about you! If you’re already a follower then please say hi and tell me what you got up to during March!

Ah - it’s good to be back.

  4. Hey, I'm Katie and I have an unhealthy obsession with Nutella - don't judge me, I never know what to write when someone asks to write something interesting, haha! I actually found your blog from Dorkface and I am so glad that I did, as your content is wonderful. Before I read it in this post I was also going to say that your photographs are absolutely beautiful and just the general colourful theme of the blog is great! I look forward to reading more of your stuff and getting to know you :)
