Christmas Decor Haul & Tree Reveal

I’m spending Christmas alone this year and whilst that does suck in some ways it also means I get to do Christmas my way. I’m looking forward to spending the day watching my favourite Christmas films, eating the festive food I like and best of all decorating my house exactly the way I want it.

I popped on down to Ocean Retail Park* on a hunt for some pastel Christmas decorations to really get me in the festive mood. First on the agenda was to get a white tree. Whilst the traditional green Christmas tree is great and all, I do love white and pastel things and so it seemed only right that I get a white Christmas tree. I found the tree of my dreams, beautiful white tinselly branches with pink and silver flecks *heart eye emoji* before heading to Homebase for some incredible decorations aisle for baubles and the like.
I went for a pink, silver and gold theme opting for this beautiful 52 piece set for just £12! The set came with a selection of metallic wonders, as well as some frosted white snowflakes, reindeers, pink pearls and stunning clip-on pink robins.
I also selected a range of individual ornaments including pretty ballerinas, the most stunning hollow baubles with snowy tree & penguin scenes inside, and a decorative pink bauble with silver glittery swirls.
I couldn’t leave Ocean Retail Park without visiting TK Maxx. Their Christmas section this year was a lot more sparse than I expected but I still managed to find a couple of pretty pieces. Firstly this white lantern with star detailing and copper interior - are you even a blogger if you don’t own anything copper? Finally I found the perfect tree topper in the form of this silver, bejewelled star. I have never been a fan of angels on top of the tree (I find them creepy) so this is a perfect alternative.

  2. I like a little of both, themed with a few mismatched ornaments hidden in the tree. ♥

    1. Oh I like that idea! I think that's basically what I've done. It's nice to have a few "hidden gems", as it were. ♥
