I’m Disney obsessed at the best of times but this month I have taken my love of Disney to a whole new level. So many brands have released Disney collaborations and what’s even more exciting is, Portsmouth finally got their own Disney store! The thought of having a whole store filled with Disney merchandise (aka happiness) just minutes from my home was oh so tempting and I may have gone a little Disney mad since.
The Vans x Toy Story collection is perhaps my favourite Disney x Vans collection yet. I absolutely had to have these adorable Bo Peep pair and cannot wait to wear them. The design features a repeat pattern of Bo and Woody and has the trade mark Andy signature on the bottom. I also loved the Bo Peep hi tops and the Alien designs but I am more than happy with my choice.
Cath Kidston released a Minnie and Mickey collection, following the success of their recent Winnie the Pooh range. It was near enough impossible to buy anything online and even in store it was all a bit manic. I did really want the Minnie mug but it had sold out so I went for the pencil case and pen instead. I draw a lot so I thought the pencil case will definitely come in handy and you can never have too many pens. I adore the classic Cath floral pattern and combined with the Minnie illustrations, it is just too cute.
I collect Funko Pop Vinyl’s like there’s no tomorrow and have added a few Disney characters to my ever-growing collection. Firstly is Mary Poppins. I can’t get over how cute her little hat is. I also added Mrs Potts and Chip and Judy Hopps. I have wanted them for SO long and I am so happy to finally have them in my life. I earned a free pop via Pop in a Box and after much deliberation, I chose the new Rapunzel figure! She is possibly my favourite Pop with her beautiful long hair, little flowers and swishy dress.
I recently discovered rainbowrules.com when hunting for a new phone case and found the PERFECT one for me. Lilac? Check. Polka dot? Check. DISNEY? Check. I just love it. I also picked up a yellow dress in the same pattern which I’ll be featuring in an upcoming OOTD!
With Christmas just days away I couldn’t not have Disney decorations for my tree. I picked up both sets of Mickey/Minnie baubles from Primark at just £4 each - an absolute bargain. I also found this sweet Marie photo frame dec on ebay for just £3.
Surprisingly, I haven’t splurged too much in the actual Disney store and have only bought two things. Firstly, a Lots-o'-Huggin' bear - granted I wasn’t a big fan of his character, y’know with him being a villain and all, but the fact he actually smells of strawberries was too much to resist.
Finally I picked up this beautiful Marie mug. I adore the Animators' collection at Disney, the illustrations are so sweet and the minimalistic style is right up my street. It has a really nice texture to it and the the fact it’s pink makes me love it even more.
Who's your favourite Disney character?
